A journal of my adventures in the fiber arts. I've played with different wool and fibers, plus different types of weaving, knitting, spinning, felting and more.
I tend to gravitate toward primitive types of fiber projects.
Greetings from Fairytale Town! Here at Fairytale Town and we are planning on shearing our sheep and would love to include a spinning demonstration to show kids how it’s done. We were originally planning to shear the sheep in May, but with the early spring we’re shearing them April 16th 2016 so they don’t get too hot. We are also shearing our angora goat. Please let me know if you know of anyone who does spinning demonstrations and would be able to come out to Fairytale Town, we’d really appreciate it! If you know of anyone we’d love to have them here, they can also sell yarn or any other wool related products here at the park and we’ll set them up with a table.
